HDD Noise 9 Years, 7 Months ago
|
|
Hi,
I just bought this lovely device and I hooked it up
right away.
I don't have the battery package nor the 5V power supply. I also installed the ASIO driver.
It is connected via the 3.5mm plug to my stereo amplifier. I get this really disturbing strange tones, like its an motherboard sound card, i can hear my hdd spinning and seeking.
Does the external power supply fix this?

I have the same situation on my old Compaq celeron 1.0G NB. But it will not have noise on my new pentium-m 1.73G NB.
I think it depend on the computer's performance

I just bought an 5V-DC adapter and hooked it in.
Doesn't fix anything, it only gets worse.
Nice product and nice support for trends... great.

Please connect with external DAC and use Trends PW-10 PSU (or Trends Battery Pack) if you want to have the TOP performance from Trends UD-10.
