Is it possible to use 8 or 9 AA batteries to power the TA-10 T-amp?

Try to use new Trends PW-10 PSU for checking the sonic performance.

10 NIMH batteries would be 12 volts. 11 would be 13.2 volts, 12 would be 14.4 volts. Max in for the amp is 13.2 volts. The odd 11 cells will require a custom battery holder where soldering is likely.

I use a 12V SLA battery with a dc to dc converter from Wal-Mart. Works great. Battery can be bought at radio shack or local hobby store. Those little tykes batteries for the power wheels are exactly what I use.

I Use a 12Volt 7Ah lead-acid sealed UPS battery. Recharging is done with a small 400mA charger used for motorcycle batteries. Gives 3 times the Ah than AA Batteries!
